Ebert Silva Holidays together with Ministry of Tourism and Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority launching the first ever “Colombo City Tour” (CCT) on 24th January 2010 for the benefit of local and foreign tourists. This is operated with open Double Decker bus.

Given the peace prevailing in Colombo city this is the time ideal to introduce the “Colombo City Tour”. This tour will cover the places of interest as in the itinerary. A Double Decker bus made for this purpose has been provided by the Ceylon Transport Board to run the tour by Ebert Silva Holidays (Pvt.) Ltd.

The basic shedule of the city tour bus is:
0830 – Tour commences from the foyer area of the Galle Face Hotel

0835 – Proceed through Ramada Hotel and pick up at Cinnamon Lake Hotel
0840 – Pickup at Galadari and Hilton Colombo Hotels
0850 – Pickup at Grand Oriental Hotel
0855 – 0910 Ponnambalameshwaran Kovil (15mts)
0915 – 0935 St. Lucia’s Cathedral (20mts)
0945 – 1000 Wolfendal Church (15mts)
1000 – 1015 Travel along Supreme Court Complex, Pettah, Fort Railway Station, Old Parliament, Gall Face, Sri Lanka Tourism, Temple Trees, and Gangarama Simamalakaya
1015 – 1030 Gangaramaya Seema Malakaya (15mts)
1035 – 1205 National Museum & ODEL
1210 – 1310 Lunch
1320 – 1330 Dawatagaha Mosque (10mts)
1330 – 1400 Proceed to Janakala Kendraya, Parliament & War Memorial
1400 – 1445 Janakala Kendraya/National Craft Council (45mts)
1445 – 1505 passing through BMICH, Aukana replica
1505 – 1515 Independence Square (10mts)
1515 – 1530 Drive through Art Gallery, Royal College, Colombo University
1545 Return to hotels

Tickets for the city tour will be for the following prices,

Foreign Nationals-Adult: US$ 30
Srilankans-Adult: Rs. 950/-
Foreign Nationals-Child: US$ 30 (Age between 5yrs-12yrs)
Srilankans-Child: Rs. 500/- (Age between 5yrs-12yrs)
* All inclusive (Entrance fees for all places and monuments visited on tour, Entrance fees for all places and monuments visited on tour)
